The 2nd Interbank Tournament sponsored by IBSO TECH took place in Dushanbe
On 2 April, the 2nd Interbank Tournament sponsored by the IBSO TECH IT company took place in the suburbs of Dushanbe, at the Green Wood House hotel facilities (Gissar city, Lolagi village). The tournament was organised by IBSO TECH with the partnership of Tajikistan’s Professional Football League.
The tournament gathered 16 teams representing 16 banks of the Republic of Tajikistan on the football pitch, including: National Bank of Tajikistan, Dushanbe City, ICB, Oriyonbank, Activ Bank, Commerce Bank of Tajikistan, Vasl Bank, Amonatbank, Eskhata Bank and others. The tournament participants also included the IBSO TECH football team.
The first stage of the tournament involved a drawing procedure to divide the teams into four groups: A, B, C and D. Group matches determined the strongest teams.
The second stage of the tournament involved Olympic-style knockout matches. The pairs of competitors were determined based on the results of the first stage matches.
All games were exciting and uncompromising. The teams demonstrated a high level of sportsmanship and provided spectators with many exciting game moments.
The tournament lasted six hours. The Oriyonbank team won a sweeping victory in that competition. The second place was won by the National Bank of Tajikistan team. The Eskhata Bank team won the third place.
The tournament winners received trophies and special prizes: certificates for the free use of IBSO TECH software licences by the banks.
Speaking at the award ceremony for the tournament winners, IBSO TECH Director Aleksandr Kostin noted: we support initiatives that strengthen team spirit, develop endurance and promote a healthy and active lifestyle. With its spring football tournament, IBSO TECH has already established a tradition. The tournament is not only an exciting sporting event, but also a great opportunity to strengthen friendly ties and maintain team spirit. While holding strong positions in the Tajik financial market, the banks participating in the tournament also confidently demonstrate their skills on the football pitch. All teams demonstrated high sportsmanship, cohesion and incredible energy. On behalf of IBSO TECH, I thank everyone who took part in this inspiring sports festival. I wish you all new achievements, both in sports and at work.
